bake them in the crockpot.
Thats it. Pile your crockpot full of washed clean potatoes and bake on high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours. The potatoes turn out very tender and moist. This saves energy because you don't have to turn on the oven. It also cuts down on waste since you don't have to wrap the potatoes in foil. I have been trying to stay away from foil when possible because of the aluminum exposure. These turned out wonderfully, I'll definitely be using this method again.
You can use your extra potatoes to make Laura's Hashbrowns. Yum!

ReplyDeleteDo you have to add water or anything?
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't add water. I did read that someone put butter all over the outside of their potatoes, so you could try it that way too.
