Hi! I'm Christy, mom to three precious girls age 4, 2, and newborn. I absolutely love being a mom and all that goes along with it. I enjoy cooking, sewing, doing crafts with my kids, feeding my family healthy foods, ...and of course, blogging about it all. My girls are/ were breastfed, cloth diapered, homeschooled, and loved deeply. I
don't enjoy doing the dishes or cleaning the bathroom. Just because I'm blogging, doesn't mean my house is clean! I started this blog to post an article that I had written on Toys, Lead, and Plastics. It grew from there as I started sharing other things that I had researched or was learning about. "One Little Word She Knew" is from a song that we listened to on a record when I was little. Its a slow sweet song about a little girl and her doll and was always special to me. The
words are "One little word she knew, mama, mama, to me it meant I love you." I remember holding my doll and thinking of the day when I would have a real baby. Being a mom has changed me in so many ways and I hope to share that journey with you.
